A fairy tale about a baker and his wife who are childless but learn from a witch that they will concieve--if they bring her a cow as white as milk, a cape as red as blood, hair as yellow as corn, and a slipper as pure as gold. After meeting, Jack (of the Beanstalk fame), Little Red Ridinghood, Rapunzel, and Cinderella, they get all the items necessary. This show takes all the characters' tales and combines them into one adventure, each with his/her own reason to go into the woods. For the Junior version, only Act 1 is performed, as many meet a not so happy ending in Act 2.
